This map shows the Baltic coast from Stettin Bay in the west to Riga in the northeast. To the right of the title cartouche is a bit of Hungary and Translyvania. In the lower right is the Dnieper river.

The map has one pin-sized hole that is only seen against light. Light crease in lower left side on yellow border. General condition is Almost Very Good.

From Vienna to the Black Sea, from the Baltic Sea near Koenigsberg and Smolensk /Moscow to the Adriatic Sea near Ragusa and the Marmora Sea. Reverse side: Title of map in German.

General age toning. A repaired tear in upper margin. Parallell to centerfold insignificant creases. Some light creasing in lower area. A few visible light spots in margins.

Interesting and detailed map with Kronstadt on the left and St. Petersburg on the right. In the center is information about the war and the listing of some major monuments in St. Petersburg.

Very detailed map of Scandinavia and the Baltic region. Notice the very decorative cartouche with the three coats-of-arms of the three countries.

Very historical map of Poland and Lithuania in the time of 1125 tp their unification in 1386. In the upper right is a bit of the Volga River and the area around Moscow. At the bottom center is Moldavia and the moth of the Danube River. On the left is the Oder River with Landsberg and Stettin. Most of the map uses very old Polish and German names.

Map has light browning on margin edges and very light overall age toning.

This interesting map shows the regions of the various Slavic peoples between the Elbe and don Rivers until 1125. The older names of the Slavic people are used and each region is outlined with a different color. The map reaches from Magdeburg in the west to the Oka River in the east.

Map has browning on margin edges and a few light, scattered spots. Small repaired tear in lower left margin corner.

Map shows Poland, Lithuania and the surrounding area under the rule of the Jagjellonen from 1386 to 1572. The map reaches from Wittenberg and Grimma in the west to the Oka River in the east. At the bottom of the map is the mouth of the Danube River in the Black Sea.

Map has light browning on margin edges and a few minor scattered spots.

This historical map reaches from Coslin in Pomerania to Libau and Schruder on the north Baltic coast. At the top center of the map is Riga in Latvia. At the bottom center of the map is Buchovina and Moldavia with the towns of Jirlau and Baja. In the lower right is part of the course of the Dnieper River.

Map had very wide margins. Vertical centerfold. Very clean. Near the lower margin edge are three small holes.

Magni Ducatus Lithuaniæ et Regionum Adiacentium exacta Descriptio". Copper etching by Matheus Merian, ca 1650.

This west -oriented map shows Lithuania and the adjacent countries. In the upper right corner is the Baltic Sea with Curland peninsula at the top. At the bottom is the Dniper river flowing from right to left. Remember this map has west at the top! In the upper left around the title cartouche is the Vistula river. There are dotted lines on the map showing various military and travel routes of very early times. Several cartouches on the map give historical information. A coat-of-arms is in the upper right corner.

Print has clear, stron impression. Map has rather narrow margins. Light browning alond centerfold. the condition is otherwise Almost Very Good.

Very detailed map showing historical Lithuania. The map is west-oriented. (the west is at the top of the map - the right side of the map is north). In the upper right is part of the Baltic Sea with Koenigsberg and Curland. In the upper left is Poland with the city of Lublin under the title cartouche. In the lower left is part of Ukrania. The Dnieper river flows from right to left across the bottom of the map. On the backside is text (in Latin) about Lithuania.

Map has vertical fold. Light browning and spotting, mostly noticeable in the margins and on the backside. Small repaired tear on left margin edge.

This large map shows the Baltic countries and surrounding neighbors. In the upper left is the Baltic Sea and southern Finland. On the left side is part of Prussia with Koenigsberg and further south is part of Poland with Warsaw. At the bottom left is Moldavia and Rumania and the last portion of the Danube River flowing into the Black Sea. Moscow is on the upper right side of the map as a large red point.

Map has a vertical and horizontal fold crossing in the center of the map. Folds are visible only close-up. Small reapirs(visible only on backside) on the horizontal fold. In the margins of the map are creases and light graying on margin edges. Small repaired tears on upper and right margin edges.Overall condition is otherwise Good.

"Europa Tabvla VIII". Copper etching from: "Geographia" by Claudio Ptolemy. Originally edited and published by Willibald Pirckheimer. This edition,which comprises all 64 maps of the "B" edition, including the "New World", was published by Josephus Meletius 1562 in Venice.

In the western part of this map is the Vistula river for help in orientation. In the lower left corner is a bit of the Danube. In the lower right is the Sea of Asov and the northern part of the Black Sea. In the upper left is part of Scandanavia with Gotland Island. On the backside is text in Italian describing the area shown.

Map has light browning along centerfold. There are two tiny repaired holes on centerfold. Some browning that shows only on backside and a few light creases on image. Overall condition is Better than Good.

Very detailed map of the region west of St. Petersburg. In the upper part of the map is southern Finland. In the lower left is part of Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. In the lower right is a detailed plan of St. Petersburg. The smaller inset shows a detailed plan of Zarskoe, Tjerlewo and Sofia.

Map has overall age toning. Good condition.

The This map comes from a pocket size atlas (duodez): Philippi Cluverii. Introductionis in Universam Geographiam tam veterem quam novam Libri. Amsterdam, 1661. Originally colored.Centerfold. Size: ca.12 x 12,5 cm (ca.4.72 x 4.92"). Narrow margins all around, especially on right side. General toning. Minimal foxing.

A very early and detailed map of Russia showing the political border of the In the east is a prominent river that has one end at the Caspian Sean and the other flowing into the Gulf of Ob. It is named " Toboll" River . A large town in the northeast has the same name and is an ancient name that has lost its importance.In the lower right corner is the Caspian Sea. In the west is southern Sweeden, the Baltic Countries and Poland. The name "Lappland" designates an area that is now Finnland and part of Russia. To the south is part of the Black Sea and and the area formerly called Circassia.
