The ground plan of the city of Bremen is shown in pink in the upper part of the map, surrounded by small villages. Notice the many waterways in the area. The lower part shows a view of Bremen surrounded by two allegorical figures. Between the figures to the left is an open atlas showing Greenland and Spitzbergen in Norway. Theis alludes to the possessions of the Hanse. Above the view is a coat-of-arms of the city. The legend of the map is in the upper left corner.

The map shows light browning along the center fold. In the lower margin is a crease reaching in the image. The is a little spot in the right and left yellow outline near the bottom. Lower margin is somewhat soiled. Overall condition is Very Good.
