This engraving had a limited edition and was published by the Munich Artists Association as a gift to their memebrs in the year 1838. It was printed on Japan paper and laid down on heavier paper. Very nice condition.

The work was known as "Entwuff einer historischen Architektur" published in Vienna, 1721 and again in 1725 in Leipzig.

On the left hand is the groundplan for the mosque. The title is in German and French on the lower right half of the print.

Print has overall light toning, a little darker on right side. Two tiny repaired tears in margin. General condition is Almost Very Good.

"Entrée Solemnelle du Pacha au Caire". Copper etching by Delaunay after Louis François Cassas from "Voyage pitt. de la Syrie, de la Phénicie etc." published in 1799. (Cassas had planned a description of the voyage to Syria, Palestine and Eygpt, but it was never finished and only 30 of these were published)

The margins have some light, scattered spotting and a few tiny tears on margin edges. On the centerfold is a repair of a small missing area. Condition is Better than Good.
