Copper etching by Johann Adam Delsenbach (1687-1765) after the drawing of Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach (1656-1723). The work was known as "Entwuff einer historischen Architektur" published in Vienna, 1721 and again in 1725 in Leipzig.

On the left hand is the groundplan for the mosque. The title is in German and French on the lower right half of the print.

Print has overall light toning, a little darker on right side. Two tiny repaired tears in margin. General condition is Almost Very Good.

Copper etching by Johann Adam Delsenbach (1687-1765) after the drawing of Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach (1656-1723). The work was known as "Entwuff einer historischen Architektur" published in Vienna, 1721 and again in 1725 in Leipzig.

The "trompe de'oeil" of this print is the right side "pinned" somewhat over the groundplan on the left.

Print has overall light age toning that is slightly darker on right side. Condition is Almost Very Good.

"Entrée Solemnelle du Pacha au Caire". Copper etching by Delaunay after Louis François Cassas from "Voyage pitt. de la Syrie, de la Phénicie etc." published in 1799. (Cassas had planned a description of the voyage to Syria, Palestine and Eygpt, but it was never finished and only 30 of these were published)

The margins have some light, scattered spotting and a few tiny tears on margin edges. On the centerfold is a repair of a small missing area. Condition is Better than Good.
