The Gulf of Gaeta, with its picturesque coastline, is the theme of this atrractive print. At the bottom is the Via Appia and the entrance gate to the town of Mola with its large tower. On the hill to the right is Castel Novo. Gaeta lies on the peninsula at the top of the bay. The yellow ribbon in the upper left has a saying about Gaeta from the "Aeneis" by Virgil. In the lower left is a Renaissance cartouche with two persons looking across the bay. Two fishermen try
their luck near the tower while a rider and pedestrians are on their way to Mola. Sailboats are anchored in the bay. Verso: Text in Latin.

Wide margins, somewhat dirty. The lower margin is spotty and has a small repaired tear near the centerfold. Overall
condition is Very Good.
